Kelly Tammaro is
a Reiki Master Teacher trained in Usui, Tibetan, Shamballa & Karuna Reiki ®. Karuna
Reiki ® is
a registered trademark of the International Center for Reiki Training. She first heard about Reiki in
2000 when her mom was about to have a major cancer operation. Kelly's friend Suzanne McCarthy gave her
Reiki which helped reduce the stress and fear she felt thinking about her mom's upcoming operation. After
the Reiki, Kelly was able to visualize her mom having a successful operation with a healthy
outcome. She used this energy to also help her mom visualize the same and for the past ten years Kelly's mom has
been cancer free.
Kelly became a Reiki practitioner in
2006, a Usui Master Teacher in 2007 and a Karuna Reiki ® Master in 2009. After becoming
a Usui Master teacher in 2007 she volunteered at Open Doors in Braintree by providing Reiki to the general
public every Tuesday evening for one year. Around the same time she began her volunteer work
for Care Alternatives Hospice and in 2008 she was awarded a certificate for being the "Care
Alternatives Hospice Volunteer" of the year. She continues
visting the Weymouth Health Rehab and Nursing Home in Weymouth with her two golden retrievers Happy and Cooper providing
Reiki and pet therapy. Happy and Cooper were pet therapy certified through Dog
B.O.N.E.S. (Building Opportunies for Nuturing & Emotional Support) Therapy Dogs of Massachusetts www.therapydog.info This training is also now available at our "Sister-Center" in Braintree Woof & Whimsy, by contacting

In April 2008 Kelly completed her second Master training by taking Advanced
Reiki/ Usui Tibetan Master Training (ART) in Rockhill, NY from William Rand through the International Center for Reiki
Training. Immediately afterwards she began co-teaching through part of a cooperative group at Angels By The
Sea in Plymouth. Six months later in November 2008 she opened her own Reiki business in Hanover and in April 2009,
she and Cathi Burke of Heavenly Messengers decided to go into this together by creating Heavenly Messengers
and The Heart of Reiki Center. Kelly and Cathi own the Center together and have many healing partners who offer
a variety of services at the Center. Since the Reiki and Angel doors opened along with Cathi Burke, Ann Brum and Susan Czemmel we have
added many other healing modalities to such as Crystal Workshops, IET ®(Integrated
Energy Treatments) and "Tong Ren" treatments, Animal Reiki, Sound Therapy.
We
offer all of these services in two locations : Heavenly Messengers & Heart of Reiki Center, 720 Washington Street, Hanover
and at "Our Sister- Center", Woof and Whimsy, a holistic and wellness center for pets, 38 Commercial
St. Braintree.
